When Joseph turned 10 years old, his summer vacation began like any other - long, hot days spent playing with his cousins. But then, things took a turn for the strange. A hooded figure appeared night after night outside Joseph’s window, and then something far stranger - perhaps not of this world - appeared outside his family’s home. Whatever it was seemed to stick with him for years, returning later as an owl with an intelligence that felt beyond natural.
