We went in asking whether Avengers Doomsday could make the MCU feel like the MCU again. After watching, Brody, 2-Dong Dylan, and Charlie are all excited, especially by Doctor Doom’s surprising voice, the returning X-Men, Cyclops’ comic-inspired look, and the enormous scale of the trailer. But the massive cast, CGI-heavy environments, and risk of cameos replacing story gave us plenty to debate. We also get into Channing Tatum’s Gambit, Mystique’s hair, Thor’s surprisingly large presence, and why Dylan still trusts the Russo brothers to pull everything together.
