Welcome back to T3 Talks! In this episode Sam and Austin have the pleasure of talking to Grant Beanblossom, Lead Data Scientist in VT-ARC's Data Science Division. Grant is an accomplished data scientist who went back to get a law degree and recently passed the bar exam. Grant talks all about the journey from data to law and his thoughts on policy vs legality, fair use and the legal battlefield, and whether we view AI from a work perspective or a downfall of society perspective. He also shares his concerns about an AI-filled internet, 'nutrition labels' for AI models, and whether, for a given task, AI can do it, but do we trust it enough to allow it?
