After the Civil War, Reconstruction sought to remedy a deeply structurally racist antebellum South. But a movement sprung up dubbed the Lost Cause. It sought to rewrite Reconstruction and restructure the South to maintain white supremacy. Your hosts are Julian Feeld and Jon Gabrus.
