It’s official, Sophia Wilson is returning to the Portland Thorns for the 2026 season.

“Bringing this new version of myself back to Portland is so special to me.”“I’m excited to get back with everyone & play in Providence Park, in front of the Riveters. There’s no place like it.”

According to a team source, the Portland Thorns anticipate Sophia Wilson’s full participation for both the 2026 preseason camp and Coachella Valley Invitational. If all goes according to plan, she could be on the opening day roster for 2026.
