Episode Description

Mike Evans and Brandon Stokley kick off today’s show celebrating the US Men’s Hockey Team’s gold medal victory at the Olympics. Mike calls out David Adelman for his excuses after the Nuggets gave up a 4th quarter lead to lose in San Francisco. Johnny Morton is the new passing game coordinator for the Broncos and Mike tells everybody why the longtime Payton protege got a raw deal at his last stop and how important he could be for Bo’s all-important 3rd year. They discuss the Gold Medal Game coming down to 3-on-3 overtime hockey and all the controversy that came out of it. The guys discuss what a disappointing loss the Olympic Finals was for Canada and they wonder how the Avs’ players like Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar will respond to the huge loss. Mike and Stoke wrap up the first hour airing their concerns about the Nuggets’ lack of mental fortitude.
