At first, I was a bit cynical about the idea of a reboot of The Burbs. I always raise an eyebrow when a streamer announces it’s going to turn a classic or forgotten film from a previous decade into a full TV series, but in this case, the series in question is The Burbs, which to my surprise ended up being far more entertaining than I thought it was going to be. Thanks to some nice narrative twists and a slew of great performances, this is a true gem in the crown.

I had such a great time sitting down with Georgia and speaking to her about her role as Kate Rose from the remake of The ‘Burbs! Georgia is such an amazing and talented actress who brought us the “theorized” villainess of the show. She made a really good point during the interview, stating that the ending really didn’t show her driving away in the car, it could very well be someone else.

However, I do like the callbacks and the nostalgia of the show: the sardines and pretzels, the picture that came with the frame, Corey Feldman making a great comeback cameo as Ricky Butler. I am excited to see what’s in store for Season 2.
