The Nildorin have escaped the Shadowfell, but survival has left them exhausted and changed.

Nemiea stands at the brink of collapse. Dante struggles through the painful return from his human transformation to his true dragonborn form. With Karvix and Gleeman Thom beside them, the party emerges beneath a clear night sky outside Cogspring, Nemiea’s hometown.

Harding helps Nemiea into town as the group searches for shelter, hot baths, and their first real rest in more than a week. An unexpected reunion awaits, along with the daunting realization that Nemiea must soon introduce the Nildorin to her family.
