The Nildorin wake to banging on their inn room doors. The Gleeman rushes them along so theyâre not late to meet with the gnomish king and discuss the growing magical taint beneath the city. King Mortimer, a very old and strange gnome, gives them potions, and promises gold upon figuring out the growing issue. He has a guard lead them deep under the mountain bound castle, into the lowest depths, to show them a trap door that leads even deeper.
The party ventures deeper down into darkness with Lord Xanderwolfe along, entering into the sewers of Wenkam.
