Join us for the third episode of the SJSU Green Campus Podcast featuring Wendy Smith, a professor at San Jose State University. This episode we focused on how sustainability is related to nutrition, food security and the effects of COVID-19 pandemic. We also discuss ways we can personally incorporate more sustainability into our everyday eating patterns.
Guest: Wendy Smith/Prof. Smith teaches Hunger and Environmental Nutrition in the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences at SJSU. Wendy has a Masters in Business and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Wendy has a varied background in technology marketing, PR, nutrition consulting, and more recently teaching. She’s a fitness and nutrition/healthy eating enthusiast and enjoys her daily runs, walks with her dog, Zen and her family time with her husband and sons.
