The Prescott Valley Police Department is teaming up with Mayer High School and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to host a mock collision scene on May 5, 2026. This event is designed to educate local youth on the life-altering consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Multiple emergency first responder vehicles will stage outside Mayer High School at 17300 E. Mule Deer Drive for this mock event; and students will examine a wrecked vehicle to understand the physical reality of a high-impact crash and the dangers of impaired driving.

Students will also attend an assembly featuring stories from DUI survivors. We are grateful to our partners, including Prescott Police Department, Prescott Regional Communications Center, Native Air, Mayer Fire, and Mothers Against Drunk Drivers for their participation.

This event highlights our commitment to educating local youth on the dangers of impaired driving and the permanent consequences of preventable crashes.
