SERVED WITH RICE is a literary and cultural podcast dedicated to amplifying marginalised voices through intimate, food-infused conversations about books, publishing and identity. Set around the casual ritual of shared meals, the podcast merges critique, joy, and storytelling with sharp questions about representation in the Trans-Tasman publishing industry.

This week our guest is Chris Tse, award-winning New Zealand poet! Chris studied Film and English Literature at Victoria University of Wellington, where he also completed an MA in Creative Writing at the International Institute of Modern Letters. In 2022, he was named the 13th New Zealand Poet Laureate. In January 2024, his term as Poet Laureate was extended to the end of August 2025. Don't forget to visit Chris at christse.co.nz.
