Erin Brethauer and Tim Hussin are a filmmaking/photography couple who met in Asheville, worked together in California making intimate documentaries and have returned to Asheville to raise a child and put their professional focus into their production company, This Land Films.

Stray Embers, their latest project, douments people in a small Northern California town recovering after devastating wildfires. The film gets its local premiere Sept. 22 at the Fine Arts Theater. Erin and Tim are now in the middle of their latest project focusing on their own and other people’s recoveries from Hurricane Helene.
