“Gov Gavin Newsom To Atlanta Audience: “I’m Like You, I’m A 960 SAT guy”

Gavin Newsom is facing major backlash while out promoting his new book where he discusses his dyslexia.  Newsom told an Atlanta audience that he was like them, and no better than them because he was a “960 SAT guy…. You’ve never seen me read a speech because I cannot read a speech.”  Several people have strong reactions  to Newsom’s comments, including Nicki Minaj, who said his way of bonding with black people “is to tell them how stupid he is & he can’t read.””
