Episode Description

March is National Nutrition Month. We were fortunate to have three high level nutrition experts join us for our discussion of nutrition for healthy longevity. Kim Fisher highlighted the importance of adequate protein and micronutrient intake for older adults, especially those on GLP-1s. She explained how the Innovation Institute for Food and Health at UC Davis is producing startups like Amplifye and Caffree, which enhance protein absorption and decaffeinate coffee, respectively. Leo Grady, PhD, from Jona Health discussed the gut microbiome's impact on health, emphasizing the use of AI to curate published research and personalize dietary recommendations. Monique Nadeau from EatLove detailed their platform's ability to provide personalized nutrition prescriptions, integrating with grocery and restaurant partners to make healthy eating affordable and convenient. Jona and EatLove exhibited in the CES 2026 ATC pavilion.
