Hollie Blanchard is the founder and owner of Art Girls, a gallery and studio in Excelsior, MN representing 16 local artists. Her love of art started young — reorganizing her Barbie store, rearranging her bedroom — and turned into an apparel design degree from the University of Minnesota, then a stint in NYC working for a celebrity stylist and in the jewelry industry, hunting flea markets and museums for extraordinary pieces. After meeting her husband, she moved back to Minnesota and eventually turned her home-based art habit into what's now Art Girls. For Hollie, art exists everywhere. She calls herself a concierge for finding that perfect piece, and believes every artist deserves their own lane, without competition.
