In the first episode, Andrea Gunning of Glass Entertainment and Tina Maia, whose story anchors the series, bring to light a deeply disturbing case that has already gripped audiences in podcast form and now on Hulu. Tina became involved with a man who engaged in a pattern of fertility deception, manipulating and weaponizing reproduction. As detailed in the series, she ultimately uncovered an elaborate web of lies, including his false claims that he was unable to have children.
