Hey sissies! We realize we didn’t get to talk at length about everything that happened AFTER Season 4 of SLOMW ended. So instead of just rehashing everything, we asked media and narrative change researcher Soraya Giaccardi Vargas to come on the pod and help educate us about the ways domestic violence is portrayed in media, as well talk about the responsibility that makers of reality television have in their depictions of domestics violence on screen, and how they can avoid re-traumatizing survivors who are watching.
