A 450-unit co-op in the Bronx spent years unable to get enough shareholders engaged to hold a valid board election. Linda Gibbs, owner and president of Honest Ballot, has spent nearly three decades helping buildings like this one solve that exact problem, mixing paper ballots, phone voting, and online systems to chase down the votes that keep slipping away. She talks candidly about what it takes to rebuild trust in a community that's stopped showing up, the surprising tension that erupts once ballots are finally counted, and one election gone so wrong that security had to get involved.
