Forreal — drive extra careful this weekend. People will be roaming outside with their noses buried in books. They’ll be alone or with friends, possibly carrying very heavy but very cute tote bags. 

Why? Because the 2026 Indy Indie Book Crawl kicks off tomorrow. 

Anyone can do it. Simply visit one of the 27 locally owned bookstores participating in this year’s crawl, or any of the booksellers hosting pop-up shops at The Stutz, through Sunday, March 22.
