The Philadelphia 76ers extended their season-long winning streak to five games thanks to a 113-94 win over the Golden State Warriors, kicking off their road trip with wins on consecutive nights. The Sixers, playing without Joel Embiid, were led by VJ Edgecombe, who finished with 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in one of his most complete performances in weeks. Tyrese Maxey added 14 in a down night, Kelly Oubre Jr 15 and Trendon Watford had 16 points and eight rebounds off the bench.

The Warriors, playing without Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler and Jonathan Kuminga, hit 19 three-pointers to keep the game close until the Sixers took over in the second half.
