Episode Description

The Philadelphia Flyers came out on fire early in the first period, putting a ton of pressure on the Ottawa Senators in the opening minutes, including Tyson Foerster beating Linus Ullmark 29 seconds after puck drop to put the Flyguys up 1-0. But the Sens were able to turn momentum after the Flyers’ fast start and Olle Lycksell scoring against his former employer 3 minutes into the second was enough to give Ottawa a 2-1 lead through 40, despite Dan Vladar’s best efforts. The Flyers had a chance early and late in this game, but just couldn’t muster enough quality scoring chances to support another strong game from Vladar. Charlie & Bill break down the loss, discussing the Flyers goaltending, penchant for taking penalties, and all of Matvei Michkov’s scoring chances.
