Dr. Mark Noble is Associate Professor of English at Georgia State University, where he teaches American literature and critical theory. He's the author of American Poetic Materialism from Whitman to Stevens (Cambridge UP, 2015). His essays appear in American Literature, Nineteenth-Century Literature, American Literary History, J19, and various edited collections.
