"Led by the Spirit, Formed in Christ" (Romans 8:14-30) — Nathan Johnston

Episode Description

Pentecost is often called the “birthday of the Church,” because it’s the first time the Spirit dwells within believers collectively, the Gospel is proclaimed publicly, and a Spirit-formed community is launched into mission.

It’s the moment where waiting turns into empowerment—where God’s presence moves from being with His people to being within His people, for the sake of the world.

But before God pours out His Spirit, He prepares a people—through surrender, formation, and faithful waiting. So as we begin this series, we’re asking a simple but honest question: If God wanted to pour out His Spirit here… would we be ready to receive?

In this sermon, Pastor Nathan, from Broadway Church, unpacks Romans 8:14-30.
