• Disease watch: Screwworm resurfaces in New Mexico as cattle trade resumes, and South Dakota reports its first anthrax case of the year in a cow-calf herd.
• Alpha-gal syndrome strikes a Missouri “livestock advocate” who can no longer eat the red meat she spent her life raising — the Pork Business network is devastated, the rest of us are not
