This week, Diallo and LUXXURY sit down with artist, television host and cultural steward of the early New York hip-hop scene, Fab 5 Freddy, to discuss his new memoir Everybody's Fly: A Life of Art, Music, and Changing the Culture. They touch upon Fab 5 Freddy’s earliest graffiti works and how he helped usher graffiti art into the mainstream, his work on seminal hip-hop film Wild Style, his friendship with fellow New York artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and the members of Blondie.
