September 16

Episode Description

The road goes ever on and on…and at last it’s brought us to The Lord of the Rings trilogy! Today we’re talking about the first book: The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien. We’re all big fans of the series - Jino considers it his go-to cosy British fantasy story, Victoria read the books once in middle school and returns for new perspectives on this reread, while Michael is excited to read this for the first time after loving the movies. So grab your lembas and join us as we discuss how this series inspired us as artists, all the walking and singing that happens in this book, and “Ho! Tom Bombadil, Tom Bombadillo!”
