Episode Description

The colonies prepare for battle. Paul Revere rides into the New England backcountry with a warning: the redcoats are coming. In the town of Lexington, the first shot of the Revolutionary War is fired - and a teenage boy from rural Massachusetts is thrust into the centre of the vicious conflict. George Washington is chosen as commander-in-chief of the brand-new Continental Army. But how can Washington turn a ragtag group of rebels into a force capable of standing up to the might of the British Empire?
