Episode Description
The Cool Kids (Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks) join Devon on the show this week to claim that space is overrated, give Prodigy’s lyricism its flowers, and revisit a classic from Ghostface Killah.
The Cool Kids are the American hip-hop duo of rappers Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks. Formed in Chicago in 2005, the group gained widespread attention for their minimalist, bass-heavy production, lyricism, and nostalgic style inspired by the golden era of 1980s and early 1990s hip-hop. Breaking out during the blog era with projects like “The Bake Sale,” The Cool Kids have collaborated with artists across hip-hop and beyond while constantly evolving their sound. Their project “When Fish Ride Bicycles” blends sharp storytelling, laid-back charisma, and inventive production into a style that remains distinctly their own.
