Bayanni (born Oladokun Abimbola Elijah on June 25, 1997) is a Nigerian Afro-fusion and Afro-pop singer-songwriter signed to Mavin Records, one of Nigeria’s leading music labels founded by Don Jazzy. He was born and raised in Alagbado, Nigeria, and developed his musical talent early through church choir and playing instruments. Bayanni gained widespread recognition with his hit song “Ta Ta Ta,” which charted internationally and earned a remix featuring American artist Jason Derulo. His rising profile has brought nominations and awards, and he’s regarded as one of the exciting new voices in contemporary Afrobeat music.
