This aired on a Monday so I’m hoping this will be fresh in your minds. How was worship on Sunday? It’s kind of a funny concept when you think about it; us, the worshippers, evaluating the quality or depth or whatever-ness of the collective worship experience. Isn’t that God’s job? People have strong feelings about musical style, song selection, and how professional or planned the whole thing ought to be. All of those things are valid in their own right but I believe we all benefit when we allow Scripture to shape our expectations and reasons for worship.
