Police Academy! Strange Brew! Gremlins! And in the summer of 1984 we got an answer to the question: Who ya gonna call? Well, at the start of the now legendary summer of 1984 the answer to that question was anything but “Ghostbusters”. After that summer though there was only one team of paranormal investigators and eliminators to call. It’s the opening weekend of Ivan Reitman’s Ghostbusters; a movie that could only have succeeded due to the year it was released, and we take a deep dive into that classic film, and delve into the friendships we lose along the long and occasionally lonely road of growing up.
