Arkansas, Alabama, Vandy, Auburn all won at home, while LSU & Mississippi State won on the road. The lone ACC victor was Virginia, who trounced Texas in Austin.

In the second night of Big Ten action Niko Medved scored the first big win of his Minnesota tenure, knocking off previously unbeaten Indiana.
