The Land of Eem Actual Play returns with a squelching, swamp-soaked journey through the Quagmash—where the world doesn’t try to kill you outright so much as slowly wear you down. Brendo and Hooch kick things off in a spill-side tavern, scraping together hit points, coins, and clues about the missing Harn Twinbeard. A mustachioed magic shop forces the all-important decision: flashy gear or superb galoshes? (Good thing they choose the galoshes—the mud tries to eat them.) As the jokes fly and the travel mishaps pile up, the party strikes a wiser rhythm: travel smarter, conserve resources, and listen to the world.

Back in Bogtown, Charlie’s reveal ties their tiny victories to a much bigger threat. The Tricky Toe gang is tunneling a hidden base beneath the city, and instead of kicking in the door, the crew makes the clever call to pass intel to Underbrink and regroup. Their road to Harn leads through storms, quicksand, a Nakadonkey reaver, and one very hard-won gumbo—before limping into Skiff with humor intact.

There they meet Isaac, a secrets trader who cracks the world wide open: Long John McGilla’s hush-hush riversaur hunt, the ominous Dark Shroom Tower, and a crucial lead toward the Lost Willows, where even the trees take prisoners—and where Harn may be hiding. With the sandbox expanding and the stakes rising, the party sets its sights on Sinkhole and beyond, all while the Tricky Toe tunnels grind underfoot.
