Land of Eem Actual Play | Season Finale – Eye of Ek, Volcano Showdown & the Door to Eppley

Trapped atop Mount Terror with enemies closing in, Riley and Galen face their most dangerous moment yet in this epic season finale of the Land of Eem Actual Play Podcast. As Ulfrex the Cruel and his army of Felmog Knights and Sarpathy warriors storm the mountain, our heroes must reach the volcanic treasure chamber before it's too late.

Evading the explosive Volcanoids, they uncover three ancient treasure chests—each brimming with magical items, strange relics, and one ominous prize: the Eye of Ek, a powerful serpent’s eye that radiates dread.

Among the other discoveries: Ratwalker’s Boots, a wandering garden, a magnificent slingshot, and the mysterious Book of Predatory Horticulture. But there’s no time to celebrate—battle echoes through the caverns as Ulfrex's forces close in.

In a moment of inspired improvisation, Galen uses the Rickety Curio of Infinite Doors, activating it with a tapestry depicting the long-lost city of Epoli. The pair escape through a portal, vanishing with the Eye of Ek and denying their enemies the artifact’s corrupting power.

This unforgettable ending concludes Riley and Galen’s 63-episode journey not with a final battle, but a bold escape—and a new beginning in the ruins of ancient Epoli.
