Episode 3 - Repression and Resistance

Oct 1, 2025
34 mins

Episode Description

As the genocide in Gaza continues, more Americans than ever stand in solidarity with Palestine. But action has been met with reaction: We discuss the repression facing the Palestinian solidarity movement as a whole, and explore the threats to Jewish pro-Palestine organizing. We’ll talk about how this repression harms our Palestinian comrades, and contextualize recent developments within both US history and the Trump administration’s escalating authoritarianism.

Guests: Sonya Meyerson-Knox, JVP Communications Director; Rabbi Lonnie Kleinman, JVP Rabbinical Council; Dottie Zellner, veteran JVP member and civil rights activist
