During the October 13, 2024, 125th year celebration of the creation of Union Miners' Cemetery in Mt. Olive, IL, UMWA President Cecil Roberts made the crowd aware that no plaque for the legendary, Irish firebrand, Mother Jones, exists in the AFL-CIO building.
