They pepper sprayed his client's dogs for 24 minutes.
The dogs went back, cleaned their eyes, and attacked again. And again. Until neighbors called the police and the intruders ran.
Those dogs were trained by Mike Israeli, founder of Delta K9 Academy, the man LA's wealthiest families call when they want protection that doesn't fail. His dogs have made the news for stopping home invasions. His clients include people who already spent six figures elsewhere and found out the hard way what they actually bought.
Because here's what Mike told me: most of what's sold as a "protection dog" in this industry is fake. A dog that performs on training equipment and freezes in real life.
