4:20 pm Former Houston Mayor Annise Parker and former city council member Letitia Plummer will be in the May 26 runoff election to claim the Democratic nomination for the Harris County judge’s seat. In the March 3 primary, Parker received 46.6% of the vote, compared to Plummer’s 37.3%. and Matt Salazar received 16.1%. With early voting starting on May 18 thru 22, we are joined again with Annise to learn how the campaign is going.

4:50 pm Foreign travel can sometimes be hazardous, especially for seniors who go globe-trotting in their Golden Years. In the news right now is the cruise ship where the hantavirus has infected many passengers. Tragedy can also occur all of a sudden on any overseas trip when you are the most vulnerable. To learn how you should prepare for the unexpected and even handle a death overseas, we turn to much experienced travel agent Deepi Mehta.
