People often ask,
"Can AI glorify God?"
A better question is:
Can a pen glorify God?
Can Microsoft Word glorify God?
Can a piano glorify God?
Can a camera glorify God?
Can electricity glorify God?
None of them possess faith.
None of them possess the Holy Spirit.
None of them pray.
None of them repent.
They are tools.
The moral weight lies in the one holding the tool.
A pen can write pornography.
The same pen can write Scripture.
The pen isn't righteous or sinful.
The author is accountable.
The same is true of AI.
God often works through human hands
Paul writes:
"For we are labourers together with God."
(1 Corinthians 3:9)
God chooses to work through people.
A preacher preaches.
A missionary travels.
A teacher instructs.
An author writes.
A programmer develops software.
If any of these are done with a heart surrendered to Christ and in submission to His truth, then God is glorified through the obedience of the servant—not because the tool itself possesses spiritual life.
