Episode Description
Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17:
"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new."
Notice it doesn't say some things. It says all things. God specializes in making things new.
Every morning I wake up, I want to be newer than I was yesterday.
A little wiser.
A little stronger.
A little kinder.
A little more disciplined.
A little more hopeful.
A little more like Christ.
I don't want yesterday's bitterness.
I don't want yesterday's excuses.
I don't want yesterday's limitations.
And I certainly don't want yesterday's drama showing up demanding a seat at today's table.
No thank you.
I've got growth to do.
I've got purpose to pursue.
I've got mountains to climb.
So if someone tells you today, "You're acting brand new," smile and tell them:
"Absolutely. And God's still working on me, so stay tuned.
