Episode Description

GoVols247's Ryan Callahan and Patrick Brown preview Tennessee's matchup against Arkansas and answer a handful of questions from our subscribers on The CheckerBoard.

No. 12 Tennessee is back in action after its open date and back in SEC play against Arkansas on Saturday at Neyland Stadium. The Razorbacks are 2-3 and fired head coach Sam Pittman after a 43-point home loss to Notre Dame, but in the two games before the blowout, Arkansas had Ole Miss and Memphis on the ropes late in the fourth quarter on the road. Which version of Arkansas, now under interim coach Bobby Petrino, will Tennessee face on Saturday.

We discussed why Tennessee's offense should be able to keep its hot streak rolling, concerns for the Vols defensively against QB Taylen Green & Co. and update the latest with Tennessee's injury situation.

Then we answered some questions from our subscribers about this game and Tennessee's transfer portal approach after the season.
