Today we begin our study through the Book of Philemon. This short but powerful letter centers on forgiveness, reconciliation, grace, restoration, and Christian love. Paul writes to Philemon concerning Onesimus, a servant who had apparently wronged Philemon but had since come to faith in Jesus Christ. Rather than demanding punishment or rejection, Paul appeals to Philemon to receive Onesimus back not merely as a servant, but as a beloved brother in Christ.
