Episode Description
Today we continue our study through the Book of 2 Corinthians with Chapter 12. In this chapter, Paul describes extraordinary revelations he received from God, yet he quickly shifts the focus away from spiritual experiences and toward dependence upon God's grace. Paul speaks about his "thorn in the flesh," a source of ongoing weakness or difficulty that God chose not to remove despite Paul's repeated prayers. Instead, God responded with one of the most encouraging promises found anywhere in Scripture: "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Throughout the chapter, Paul teaches humility, dependence upon God, spiritual maturity, and the surprising strength that comes through weakness.
