The 2nd Annual Mesa Verde Literary Festival is happening in Mancos, Colorado on Saturday September 5th!
Episode Description
In this episode I'm excited to be speaking about the upcoming 2nd Annual Mesa Verde Literary Festival happening throughout the town in Mancos, Colorado on Saturday September 5th, "Bringing writers and readers together in the the shadow of Mesa Verde National Park". Joining me in the studio to talk about this free full day event featuring 50 local and nationally recognized authors are writer Mark Stevens of Mancos an award winning author whose second novel has just been released in April and Annette McGivney, a presenter at the Mesa Verde Literary Festival and author who's newest book is soon to be released about a true crime investigation. The day will feature readings, talks, panels, presentations, teen workshops, book signing and sales. The Keynote Speaker who will cap off the day is California based award winning mystery writer Nina Simon. In addition, Colorado Poet Laureate Crisosto Apache will come to Mancos to be a part of the Festival. The Mancos Creative District is helping to make all of this possible. This will be an exciting day of celebrating the written word! For more information you can visit the website at mesaverdewriters.org
