Caleb Williams and the Bears offense didn't show up for the first three quarters of the game but rallied late to tie the Lions at 16. After a Kevin Byard interception, the Bears had the ball deep in their own territory but couldn't manage a first down and were forced to punt. Detroit had the ball with enough time to drive down field and get the game winning field goal as time expired.

Bears lose 19-16 but with the Philadelphia loss at Washington, the Bears maintained position as the 2 seed in the NFC and will host the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the NFL playoffs.
