Episode Description

Porting is everywhere right now—but not all porting is created equal.

In Episode 108 of the MacBroz Show, Josh and Darius break down what you should actually look for when choosing an aftermarket porting company and how aftermarket work compares to factory-ported pistols.

We get into quality, efficiency, port design, turnaround times, reliability, ammo sensitivity, and one of the biggest things we want to see from manufacturers and custom shops: show your work.

If a company claims its porting reduces muzzle rise or improves performance, how was it tested? What ammo was used? How many rounds were fired? Does the pistol still run reliably with the factory recoil system? And are you actually getting better performance—or just something that looks cool?

We also compare factory ports vs. aftermarket ports, including the advantages of factory validation and integration versus the customization and potentially more aggressive performance available from a quality aftermarket shop.

Plus, we catch up on what’s new:
• Glock 19 Gen 6 review is LIVE
• Josh’s Glock 48 build
• New Tier 1 holsters
• Darius running the R11 on the P365
