Human rights researcher Saleh Hijazi left his job at Amnesty International to join the Palestinian national committee of BDS—a movement that conflicts with the goal of neutrality pursued by international aid organizations. While he does not doubt that Palestinians need this aid, he calls for a “radical reform” of the model under which it is provided.
