Back in the day people used to have to write into magazines and call radio show hosts to talk about their encounters with the most explainable unexplainable things and it created a weird subculture where it became more and more difficult to determine whether or not the people involved were incredibly stupid or incredibly unwell.

And then the internet came along and made it even harder to tell.

r/Experiencers is a place on Reddit for people to go and share their “experiences” with the “transrational.” If your eyebrows are raised by that word, don’t you worry! It doesn’t make sense in context either. Mostly the transrational is still just about aliens and psychic bullshit. Experiences seem to largely be incidents of “sleep paralysis” or “a thing my kid told me.” So that’s all fun.
