Back in 2013 Em was one of a selection of celebrities invited to be a part of the Celebrity Grand Prix and one of the celebs Em connected with back then was the one and only Vanessa Amorosi.

Vanessa of course exploded onto the Australian music scene in 1999 with her debut ‘Have A Look’, followed by mega-hits in Australia and Europe with ‘Absolutely Everybody’ and ‘Shine.’

Inside Em and Vanessa revisit their first meeting and her performance at the Sydney Olympics opening and closing ceremonies. Em will also try to sell Vanessa on the idea of releasing a burn book album, as well as a death metal and rock album too.

We also discuss her work touring and singing the hits of The Eurythmics in place of Annie Lennox with Dave Stewart, her performances at the Proms with a 100 piece orchestra in Germany, and her mad skills at arranging gospel music.

They also discuss their musical inspirations, navigating the music industry, and how it affected her ability to share things on the socials.
